INTRODUCTION

The Maritime mobile station license is required to use handheld radios.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
  • Copy of Ship Registration from Mercantile Marine Department, DG shipping issuing name, call sign, the official number to the vessel (in case of STP), or copy of the certificate of Indian registry (in case of Regular license).
  • Certification of Inspection from authorized/licensed personal in the format by DPL holder or SRU certifying by DG Shipping who has installed the equipment.
  • SBI demand draft of Rs.5000/- per vessel/ship.
  • Print-out of online application filed under “Maritime Mobile Station License” license type STP is issued in case of the information furnished by the ship owner is incomplete.

Transfer of Ownership:

  • Copy of Registration certificate from DG shipping.
  • Certification of Inspection from authorized/licensed personal in the format by DPL holder or SRU certifying by DG Shipping who has installed the equipment.
  • SBI demand draft of Rs.5000/- per vessel.
  • This earlier license should be valid on the date of transfer.
  • Original and Certified True Copy (CTC) of the earlier license should be surrendered.
