The approval is required before a product is sold in a particular country and the processes differ from each and every country. The process and certification given to such a product are known as TYPE APPROVAL.

The TAC Approval or certificate is given to a product which the technical, safety, and regulatory requirements. It is given before a product is sold in a particular market.  It is compulsory before a new product is launched in the market.

DOCUMENTATION
  • Application in the prescribed format along with the required documents must be submitted at the time of making the application.
  • The sample of a product must be submitted for testing and it should be complete in all aspect along with its full capacity
  • Compliance Report as per TEC GR & Test results as per the prescribed procedure.
  • Specification of the facilities and facilities
  • All the technical documents supporting the product and it includes installation documents, operation manual, and maintenance manual.
  • In the case of Traders, authorization letters from the manufacturer appointing him as the trader for the product.
