The IC-FR5300 Series is Icom’s second-generation IDAS™ digital repeater system, designed to provide reliable, scalable, and high-performance radio communications. Built with a new CPU/FPGA architecture while retaining the same chassis as the popular IC-FR5000 series, the IC-FR5300 offers enhanced frequency stability, digital simulcast capabilities, and flexible installation options for mission-critical operations.

High-Performance Digital Repeater

• New CPU/FPGA Platform: Offers cutting-edge processing power with enhanced system compatibility.

• ±0.1 ppm Frequency Stability: Achieved via a 1 pps reference signal from a connected GNSS antenna, ensuring precision in digital simulcast networks.

• Mixed Mode Operation: Supports both digital and analog communications with automatic tone/code recognition and up to 16 programmable tones per channel.

Scalable Communication System

Upgrade your system effortlessly with the optional UC-FR5300 network/controller board and software (CF card included). Scale from a single repeater site to a multi-site trunking system or digital simulcast network, based on coverage and communication needs. Note: Multi-site trunking requires compatible IDAS radio terminals.

Dual RF Module Configuration
