“Flip-Flop” Channel Recall
Recall channel screen
The IC-A25NE/CE saves the last 10 channels accessed. With the directional keys, channel knob, and the 10 keypad, recalling these channels is simple. This feature is useful for toggling between various channels, such as NAV and COM. You can also modify stored channels by replacing, deleting, or rearranging them.
Built-in Bluetooth® for Hands-Free Operation (for IC-A25NE)
Using a third-party wireless Bluetooth® headset, such as a 3M™ Peltor™ WS™ 5*, allows for convenient hands-free functionality. With the optional VS-3 Bluetooth® headset, you can also utilize the sidetone function.

Intelligent Battery with Detailed Battery Status
**Detailed battery information screen
The included BP-288, 2350 mAh typical intelligent battery pack offers up to 10.5 hours* of operation. The battery status screen allows you to monitor the battery pack’s condition, aiding in optimal charging and battery maintenance.
*Typical operation with Tx: Rx (Max. audio): standby = 5:5:90. (Bluetooth OFF, GPS ON)
VOR Navigation Functions (for IC-A25NE)
VOR screen
The CDI (Course Deviation Indicator) is designed like a real VOR instrument, showing any deviation from the intended course. The OBS (Omni Bearing Selector) allows you to adjust your course from the original flight plan. The TO-FROM indicator reveals the relationship between your aircraft and the course set by the OBS. The ABSS (Automatic Bearing Set System) lets you establish the current course as a new one in just two steps.
Near Station Search Function (for IC-A25NE)
**Near station search function screen**
This function helps you locate nearby ground stations. It searches for local stations based on memory channels that include GPS position information. To utilize this feature, the position data and frequencies of ground stations must be pre-programmed.
Built-in GPS Receiver with Simplified Waypoint NAV (for IC-A25NE)
Waypoint NAV screen
The streamlined waypoint NAV guides you to your destination using current GPS position data (also compatible with GLONASS and SBAS). It includes two main functions: Direct-To NAV and Flight Plan NAV, allowing for storage of up to 10 flight plans and 300 waypoints in the IC-A25NE.
